Locale X Public Beta 10.0.471

Locale X is a major new version. For all of the new features in Locale X, please see the Locale X release announcement. 10.0.471 is a minor update with the following improvements:

• Improved location power management when leveraging international GNSS satellites other than GPS (e.g. GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou)

• Improved compatibility with Android 12

  • Driving, Headphones, and Bluetooth settings now require the Bluetooth permission on Android 12. If you’ve previously configured these settings, you’ll be prompted in the app to grant the permission
  • Faster display of the ongoing notification icon when the service starts

• Improved compatibility with Google Play

Note: As a normal part of our release process to ensure high quality, updates to Locale X roll out in phases over a multi-week period. It may take some time before a specific update becomes visible to you.
